Gerard Ruane is the President of the Malden Education Association. He is a 28 year middle school Social Science educator in the Malden Public Schools. Gerry sits on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Association and the National Education Association. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Salem State College and a Master’s Degree in Education from Cambridge College. A resident of Malden for most of his life, he is active in community affairs.
